KOG Classes

Krishna Our Guide conducts religious classes at the following -
Venue: Via
Zoom 
Day & Time: Every Sunday from 10:00am to 11:30am 

TRANSPORT IS PROVIDED (When venue is fixed)

                                                  Programme Structure
 

 

The class starts off with meditation followed by prayers.


Children are then grouped according to age for the various activities.


Approach to subject matter including methodology and depth of subject content will vary with different levels.


Class ends with Bhajans followed by Aarathi

Kannan Class
Level 1


Beginners will start by learning to chant basic mantras and prayers from the KOG Book of Prayers.


A simple explanation of the power of prayers and the mantras to be included.
Students acquire a basic knowledge of the avatars of Vishnu.


The Life of Sri Krishna from His birth to His Lila in Gokulam


Basic core values such as Respect, Obedience, Kindness and Love are explained through stories and role play.


Level 2


The great epics - The Mahabharatha and the Ramayana will be introduced at this stage.


Students will acquire a basic knowledge of Hindu Culture through the significance of festivals, deities, rituals and spiritual practices..


Bala Murali Class


Chanting of selected verses and chapters from the Bhagavad Gita.


Discourses on these selected verses.


Lessons to be learnt from the main events and characters in the Mahabharata and the Ramayana.


A deeper understanding of the purport behind our spritual practices.


Students will acquire knowledge of other core values such as Discipline, Diligence, Creativity, Respect for Nature, Proper Action (Karma) and the observance, application and relevance of such core values in day to day living.

Gopi Gopa Class


Students will be guided to understand the practicality of the messages in the Bhagavad Gita.


To look into certain beliefs of our tradition e.g. Evolution of the World, The Four-fold Aspirations of Human Life, Progress of the Individual and the Law of Karma.
 

To discuss some frequently asked questions on religion and our tradition; E.g: Is there such a thing as rebirth? What is Karma? What is Yoga?
