Krishna Our Guide conducts religious classes at the following place and time: |

Programme Structure |
The class starts off with prayers followed by bhajans.
After the prayers, children are grouped according to age for the various activities. Approach to subject matter including methodology and depth of subject content will vary with different levels |

Kannan Class |
Level 1 |
Beginners will start by learning to chant basic mantras and prayers from the KOG Book of Prayers. A simple explanation of the power of prayers and the mantras to be included. Students acquire a basic knowledge of the avatars of Vishnu and the life of Sri Krishna from His birth to His Lila in Gokulam Basic core values such as Respect, Obedience, Kindness and Love are explained through stories. The observance, application and relevance of such core values in every day life to be reiteriated through role play. |
Level 2 |
The great epics - The Mahabharatha and the Ramayana will be introduced at this stage.
Students will acquire a basic knowledge of Hindu Culture through the significance of festivals, deities, rituals and spiritual practices. Commentaries on selected verses from the Bhagavad Gita pertaining to character building to be expounded. |

Bala Murali Class |
The purport of the basic mantras and prayers is to be reiteriated. Basic Course on Romanised Sanskrit, chanting of selected verses and chapters from the Bhagavad Gita and discourses on these selected verses. Students will acquire a basic knowledge of the Bhagavatam. Lessons to be learnt from the main events and characters in the Mahabharata and the Ramayana. A deeper understanding of the purport behind the Hindu deities, rituals and spritual practices. Students will acquire knowledge of other core values such as Discipline, Diligence, Creativity, Respect for Nature, Proper Action (Karma) and the observance, application and relevance of such core values in day to day living. |

Gopi Gopa Class |
Students will be guided to understand the practicality of the messages in the Bhagavad Gita. An in-depth study of Sri Krishna the Purna Avatar. The life and teachings of Saints and Acharyas e.g. Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Swami Vivekananda, Mira Bai and Sankaracharya. To look into certain beliefs of our tradition e.g. Evolution of the World, The Four-fold Aspirations of Human Life, Progress of the Individual and the Law of Karma. To discuss some frequently asked questions on religion and our tradition; E.g: Is there such a thing as rebirth? What is Karma? What is Yoga? Why did so many religions come into existence in this world?
